FLAT Clock is a workforce time-clock app operated by T47 Group / Front Line Auto Temps (“FLAT,” “we,” “us”). It is used by FLAT’s staffing employees to clock in and out of their assigned shifts, and by FLAT office staff to manage those shifts. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and how it is handled.

Who this app is for

FLAT Clock is an internal tool for FLAT’s workers and staff. It is not a consumer app and is not directed to children. Users are FLAT employees (adults) who log in with their assigned employee ID.

Information we collect

• Identity. Your name and your FLAT/Paychex employee ID, used to identify whose punches belong to whom.
• Location. Your device’s GPS location at clock-in and clock-out, and periodically in the background while you are clocked in. Location is used only to confirm you are at your assigned job site and to prevent time fraud. Background location collection stops as soon as you clock out. We do not track your location when you are off the clock.
• Camera. A photo (selfie) taken at clock-in, used to confirm identity and deter buddy-punching.
• Microphone. Used only during an in-app voice call that you place or answer. Call audio is transmitted directly between devices (peer-to-peer) and is not recorded or stored by us.
• Messages. In-app text messages you send to office staff or coworkers, stored so the conversation is available to both sides.
• Device notification token. A push-notification identifier so we can deliver messages, call alerts, and clock reminders to your device.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, bank details, or tax information in this app. That regulated payroll data is handled separately by our payroll provider (Paychex).

How we use it

To verify that shifts are worked at the correct location, to keep payroll and client billing accurate, to enable communication between workers and the office, and to maintain an accurate record of hours for employment and compliance purposes.

How it is shared

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Limited shift information (that a worker is on the clock at a given site, and their location relative to that site) may be visible to the client company whose site you are assigned to. We use trusted service providers to run the app — cloud hosting and database (Supabase, Vercel) and push-notification delivery (Google Firebase Cloud Messaging) — who process data only to provide those services. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention

Time, location, and punch records are kept for as long as needed for payroll, client billing, and employment/labor-law recordkeeping, and as part of our audit log. Clock-in photos are retained for the same purpose.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and stored with access limited to authorized FLAT staff.

Your choices and rights

Location and camera permissions are controlled by your device settings; you can change them at any time, though the app may not function as a time clock without them. To ask about the data we hold about you, or to request access, correction, or deletion (subject to our recordkeeping obligations), contact us at the address below.

We may update this policy; the current version will always be posted at this page with its date.
